Missing

I will put on my horns
And dance beneath the ocean,
(Where the dolphin leaps and the whale swims by.)
Spinning and turning in the broad blue spaces --
But I'm alone, and I don't know why.

I wear my ears and tail
And dance in the starlight
(As the stars seethe and the planet turns below.)
I dance alone in my gold space station,
For you're not here -- but why, I do not know.

I put on your favorite clothes
And dance in the sunset,
As the lake shines and the far loon calls.
Your chair sits empty beside the fireplace.
I zoom in, and view your picture on the wall.

I view your picture, and I miss you, dear,
Beside the sunset lake, beneath the stars and sea.
But when I look, and find that you have come,

I'll go to you,
Or send my call
To bring you home
To me.

Wish we had a like button.

Gone

I miss You, since you have been gone,
It's been 8 yrs seems so long.
I miss those days when I was young,
I loved you so much but, now you're gone.

Those times when I would get hurt,
you would hold me close and say, don't cry son it could be worse,
Those in-between yrs, when I rebelled you may not have known this? I still cared.

I miss those days when you were old, I did my best to take care of you as You did me but, now you're gone.

I wish we still had those times,
theres so much I would like to tell you about my life, I miss those days, I wish you could still hug me and say "It will be alright".

It's so hard for me lately sometimes I dont know what to do?
I miss you everyday and wish you were here, to hold me close and say I love you too.
