This is my first real video! I spent most of the time staring at help screens, and I still don't know how to do all the things I want to, but it's a start. And I got some really great footage to work with.

Boy howdy! Now that I start to understand the work-flow patterns in Sony Vegas, I can really see this as a new hobby. I still need to learn some basic stuff -- how to use the preview editor, how to do scrolling titles, and so on. But I'm on my way.

Jersquall pointed out that if we want to put our videos in the Home Theatre, we have to stay away from using any music that is copyrighted. How about looking for musicians in Home who are willing to give us samples of their work to use in the videos? Or, how about experimenting with voice-overs? Do we have any musicians as members in Imagine! yet?

I'm also going to make sure that any music in my videos is not copyright-restricted. There are a number of websites with copyright-free music. (2MuChDeAn uses them extensively.) And of course Lab and others are creating original music.
